This provides every SOLIDWORKS user with the ability to use our CAM Software. Since 2018, every seat of SOLIDWORKS has included SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard. We also offer CAMWorks Turning Professional that can support mill/turn machines with live tooling and multiple turrets. On the other hand, if you’re using a 3-Axis machine, CAMWorks Milling Professional might be your ideal fit, because it allows for the programming of a simultaneous 3rd axis on milling machines. If you are only using the 4 th and 5 th Axis for indexing, SOLIDWORKS CAM Professional may be enough, as it includes indexing with its 2.5 Axis milling. A 5-Axis machine may require CAMWorks Premium for simultaneous 4 and 5-Axis machining.
